Bainbridge Island

Thursday, June 15th, 2006

This island is beautiful. So green. The weather has been very cooperative: mid 60s– a much appreciated change from Albuquerque which has been in the 90s.

Spending time with the family is so nice. Christopher has been having a great time with his cousins, and is warming up to Uncles Brian and Steve, and Great Grandma Jeannette. We’ll have to make sure that we do this more often — you should take advantage of the time that is given to you.

Today we took the boat over the Seattle, walked around for an hour and came back. Christopher needs to catch up on his sleep, and it was a bit tough to handle him. Jesse and family stayed over there and went to the aquarium. Dad showed up around 4:00 pm and we all had dinner together. Tomorrow is hanging out on the island and baseball.

Worley reunion - The big trip

Wednesday, June 14th, 2006

Tomorrow we head out to Seattle for our big reunion. We’ll have Grandma, her 3 sons, Jesse and myself, and our children.  There’s probably a law against that many Worley’s in one place.
I am really looking forward to this.  We haven’t all been together since my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary.

23:30 — probably time to hit the sack.  Tomorrow will be here early.
